Orbital Debris

Made in pre-production, the level was a team favorite.  However, going into production I had to move onto the single player team and the map gathered dust in Perforce. I got an opportunity to update the map mid-production and my artist and I and turned it into a super fun experience.

Responsibilities

  • Worked with concept and level art on finding a unique Cybertronian structure to build the level around.

  • Laid out the level in BSP and modular static meshes

  • Iterated level design while in BSP form to find the fun

  • Directed and work with the level artists during art passes on the level to ensure the integrity of the gameplay space

  • Guided the level through polish and bug fixing
